Arrived JFK where woman insisted on seeing return ticket which we didn't have as done on internet became somewhat difficult but managed to talk our way through but left my glasses there when they took pictures. Got yellow cab which was dreadful he drove like a lunatic. Arrived at hotel quite late but the good point was eating at the "Ribeye" to be recommended. Up early the next day with breakfast at the Brooklyn Diner also to be recommended, as part of the same group. On to Central Park,Time Square, Union Square, Grand Central Station then on to Greenwich Village and then picked up by Bob and Nelly in his limo and taken to Morristown in New Jersey to his beautiful home for a feast. Sitting in his drive was a London taxi and his stunning Morgan roadster. Bob then drove us back to Manhattan and on route stopped to show us night views over the Hudson River to New York and Time Square. The next morning Trevor and I took a taxi to Irvington to collect our cars. All was fine, the only hiccup being our new tom tom's would not pick up a signal. This journey back to our hotel was another story to be told at a later date. In the evening we ate at Shelley's Restaurant which was another brilliant meal under the umbrella of Brooklyn Diner and Redeye. The next day our real adventure began with out trip out of New York heading for Chicago.
